b and i had both always wanted to go to the alhambra. once we knew we were going to spain, the alhambra was at the top of our list of things to see. it was a bit crowded (at times), but we very much enjoyed our day there. we spent all day there touring the entire grounds (although we did go out for a little bit to have a really good moroccan lunch). it was enchanting, just like i had always thought it would be.
