we made it back to labuan bajo around 4pm. we got our things and checked into our hotel.
the rooms themselves were not that great, but the setting was nice. we had a nice shared, covered outdoor space for us (and especially the kids) to run around in.
the sunset was beautiful again.

look at it. it's obscured by the horizon and land.
we had a huge tokay gecko outside our room. we saw it catch this smaller lizard.
they're really cool! i had never seen one in real life like this before.
we did hear the tokay during the night too. they're loud! it was like a siren going off outside our window. thankfully, it didn't make noise for a long time.
