Arrived in Taiwan
This is B here. I've just arrived in Taiwan this evening, transiting through Kuala Lumpur. I'll be here for a week, giving a few lectures and meeting with colleagues and grad students at two universities on the island.

the hotel looks pretty halus, b. (i think that works for fancy.) i'm so glad you made it safely. i trust the train ride down south will go well too, and, before you know it, you'll be sitting right by that big old pacific ocean!
