10 miles and our mountain chickadee

shortly before christmas, b and i went for a 10 mile run. w rode his bike along with us too. it was a cool experience for us--to see that we could run that far at one time. at some point, i'd like to make it to 13.1 (to do a 1/2 marathon).

on a completely different note...for whatever reason, we've had a mountain chickadee coming to feed in our backyard. prior to this winter, we had only ever seen one mountain chickadee. and that was in the tetons. it's been a real treat to have our own little mountain chickadee around.

So cool that you ran 10 miles together! I'm sure you could both do a half marathon.

Is the chickadee a picture you took? Or one you pulled off the internet? Its such an awesome picture!
