we needed to find a place to eat and get our balinese dance tickets--which was why we couldn't look around the pasar for long.
we found a restaurant and had a nice meal and then walked over to the location of the acara.
this one was at a pura.
there was a gamelan orchestra.
and the acara was done in several parts--each with its own distinctive music and dance.
these women were amazing.
this dance was fun. the dancer would shake his long finger nails.
he brought up a few kids to try out the dancing.
this one was neat. i do like the umbrellas used here.
i really enjoyed this instrument.
in this performance they were celebrating ubud. note the sign that says ubud on it.
this dancer was very charismatic.
