w at his last soccer game. he scored a goal! i didn't get any of s, but she scored a goal at her first game of the season and really enjoyed playing too. after w's last game, she said to the three of us, "who is glad mom signed me up for soccer?!"
at our favorite burger expreme celebrating b getting tenure!
recently we went up to the aquarium in slc. to kick off the event, there was an all-you-can-eat ice cream party. we definitely ate plenty of ice cream (the best was the chocolate and peanut covered cone). after we ate plenty of ice cream, we wandered through the aquarium. it was super crowded, but it was fun to see the animals. 
s loved the penguins. 
we all loved the crazy otters.
i loved the smiling salamander.
we got to walk through a glass tunnel and see all sorts of sea creatures--sea turtles, sharks, and sting rays--among others.
