Yesterday Enjay and I went snowshoeing for four hours and four miles in American Fork Canyon, near Tibble Fork Reservoir. (Tibble Fork Res was showcased in our very first blog post, with a moose standing knee deep in the reservoir.)
Here we are just starting out |
The snow was about three feet deep, sometimes we were on trails that many people had walked but sometimes we walked in the fresh snow. |
Our shadows |
N liked this small aspen. |
Some of the shadows were nice |
We found a little pine tree lost out in the snow |
Good thing we didn't bring a picnic, since the tables were occupied |
A stream |

It looks like you had a great time. I especially like the ski pole mark. That made me laugh. It was so good to see all of you on Sunday. We love spending time with you!
Seeing the snow piled up on the picnic tables and on the bridge demonstrates that there's a lot of snow out there!! It looks like a fun adventure. Perhaps I'll give snowshoeing a try next winter. I have to agree with Whitney--the ski pole mark is funny. It's always funny when curiosity leads to the discovery of something very common. Love it! And love y'all!
