there's a spring in my step

that's my way of saying i'm now running again. i got in my 5th run yesterday after not running for over three months! it was torture at times. i had been running consistently for over a year. i got plantar fasciitis whilst i was in london. and it just lingered and lingered.

finally brian and i realized that maybe slight discomfort in the foot is just something i have to deal with, and it seems it might be. but at least i can run again. and it's perfect timing since the weather has been so great over the past week'ish. i went running last night around 7:15 in just shorts and t-shirt. oh man it felt good.

this picture looks like utah, no? it would be fun to do trail running, but also pretty dusty...

I got the same thing carrying baby #3 around and it creeps up sometimes, makes me feel like an old lady hobbling around. I have some stretches that help--call. DOn't overdo it though, or you'll wreck your heel.

It may be that your arches are falling. I got plantar fasciitis when I was training for the C-Ville 10-miler and a running specialist at the med center determined that the pain in my heel was coming from falling arches. I added some arch support and the problem went away. It might help.

Best to you and Brian-

Glad to hear you're able to run again. I'm sad it wasn't me that you saw. Or maybe it was - like Walt from LOST :)
