spain part 7 - end of granada / getting to malaga

we tried some of those famous spanish oranges we were seeing all over granada, and they were awful! purely decorative trees. but it was good to try one because we had been really wanting to.

we had time after church on sunday to do a little more granada exploring before our bus to malaga. we went to the granada cathedral.

the cathedral was extremely large--tall and wide--and very ornate. it was really over the top.

but, i always think catholic cathedrals are interesting.

we made it to malaga (a town right on the mediterranean coast). here i am on the roof.

the beach was a quick 5-minute walk from our hotel.

we got a brief walk on the beach our first night.

 i found lots of shells.

and b found lots of beach ceramics.

the next day, we had breakfast at the hotel. it was enak sekali!

we got the famous spanish hot chocolate. it is really good.

we started exploring malaga and found there are parrots that fly around in palm trees. they were so pretty!

we went to the picasso museum (picasso was born and rasied in malaga). it was interesting.

 spanish churros and hot chocolate!

we hit the beach each day we were there.
