so i noticed on cnn the other day an article about the sand dunes outside north bend. and they actually mentioned north bend! if you aren't from a small town (that isn't close to a city and isn't really known for anything) then you might not understand.

i really want to go back sometime. it's been almost 7 years since i've been there. i miss the beaches, trees, rain, and small-townness. perhaps sometime soon i'll get back...

congratulations on making the news! in december it will be 4 years since i have been home to my beloved colorado. maybe we could do a road trip and hit both our hometowns?

It's hard to belive I spent my summers dealing with tourist who rode those dunes. Not sure I miss that though I think visiting Oregon in September is about the only time to go. Who would have thunk it..NB in national news.
I think North Bend shows up in Twilight. You should read it.
